Hello Visayas and Mindanao

Clearskies, Inc. has recently opened a branch in Cebu City and Cagayan De Oro City. We will be allocating each branch with DJI S1000 multi-rotor, DJI Z15 for GH4 and DJI Z15 for Sony NEX cameras. This will allow us to serve our clients better by providing a lower cost of transportation when shooting in the Visayas and Mindanao region while maintaining the quality of our work.

Clearskies, Inc. & RedAnts Media, Inc. is one of the first aerial video/aerial photo/aerial media providers in the country to offer 4K Quality / Ultra HD using the Panasonic GH4. Please feel free to watch our 4K aerial video below and please don't forget to watch it on an Ultra HD monitor.

Prior to this, clients have to pay more on baggage costs when shooting in the Visayas and Mindanao regions of the Philippines. We will also be allocating each new branch with a mapping airplane for aerial mapping purposes. Davao branch will soon be opened and we will keep you posted.

Aerial 360° of Tacloban to Ormoc one year after Yolanda

Leyte (Nov 8, 2014) - Exactly one year after Yolanda (Haiayan), the people of Leyte had started re-building their houses, their lives, and slowly starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. The aerial 360° panoramic below is probably the only 360 panoramic views as of press time, one year after typhoon Yolanda and shows the current state of the following locations in Leyte:
  • Anibong, Tacloban - a shoreline community badly hit by Yolanda
  • Palo (Baras and Tzu Chi Foundation housing project in Palo)
  • Tanauan (Bislig and near Pepsi Cola Plant)
  • Ormoc (Eastern Visayan State University, Tzu Chi housing project in Linao, Ormoc, and other schools around Ormoc which was helped by Tzu Chi Foundation)
  • Kananga
When we (Clearskies, Inc. & RedAnts Media, Inc.) visited this site last January (3 months after Yolanda), all we saw was devastation. Thanks to the efforts of Tzu Chi Foundation, this is one of the many sites they helped cleaned-up thru their cash-for-work programs. The said program not only provided financial help for the survivors, it helped them restore their community and their hope.

The aerial 360° panoramic below was brought to you by RedAnts Media, Inc., Clearskies, Inc. and Exsight 360. Shot using Panasonic GH4, DJI Z15 for GH4, and ImmersionRC 5.8GHz video transmitter and receiver.

Aerial Survey Videos (taken by RedAnts assisted by Clearskies) from Bohol Earthquake and Typhoon Haiyan's damage to Tacloban were played during the interview.

It is never too late to help Leyte

RedAnts Media Inc together with Clearskies Aerial Robotics Services assisted Tzu Chi Philippines in conducting aerial survey (Jan 3, 2014 - Jan 4, 2014) for their humanitarian projects at Leyte Province.

Aerial videos and photos were taken on the coastal barangays of Tanauan and Palo to help Tzu Chi visualize the scope of damage brought by Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). Also, it will help them assess what they have done so far.

Armed with DJI S800, Z15 and ImmersionRC Xugong 10 the team was able to travel at a lighter load and less man power to operate. On typical missions we usually travel with 3 crew members and 90 kilos or more of baggage. Since direct air travel to the typhoon stricken province is a bit hard and expensive we decided to travel light.

RedAnts and Clearskies is currently in talks also with other international organizations operating in Leyte Province and will most likely come back anytime soon.

If you wish to send donations to the typhoon stricken province thru Tzu Chi Philippines please go to http://www.tzuchi.org.ph/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=145&Itemid=533.

You may also get in touch with the Philippine Red Cross or go to http://www.redcross.org.ph/donate for details.
